Behind the Scene #1

Compilation of multiple tools and tricks that I have made / use for blender over the years for workflow.

Material painter plugin I created for quick material masking. It automatically creates a B/W mask that you can paint that will allow you to paint multiple materials on a single object.

Sculptable geo-based cloud shader. Very simple setup with displacement but incredibly quick in blocking out detailed, light interacting fog without having to simulate fog.

Bevel node based edge detection shader in blender. This procedural shader essentially reads creases of the object, and bevel offers more accurate result compared to ambient occlusion. Powerful tool when layered with noise layer to create proc. shader.

Quick and dirty clothing simulation over a rig, and painted VFX placed as a card with emission node for in-render lighting.
